How to apply a petal-fold in origami (page 2)

 

01. A simple case is to start with a "square base" . Sometimes, you will be working with a portion of origami model whose shape is similar to a "square base" .   In this example, we assume that the closed-side is at the top while the open-side is at the bottom.
