09. Apply four vertical "valley-folds" of the step #8 and then unfold.   You have completed making a "8x8 matrix base" with two diagonal crease lines.   Prepare to rotate the paper by 45 degrees.

10. Rotate the paper by 45 degrees.   Prepare to apply eight "mountain-folds" and then unfold.
