We can continue applying the cushion-fold or we can stop here.
If we continue applying more of the cushion-fold, then the end-result will be: (1) we make the rose smaller and (2) we will get more petals.
For each cushion-fold, we get four petals.
Since we have applied three cushion-folds so far, we have a rose with 12 petals.
Let's just stop here since the traditional rose stops right after three "cushion-folds" .
