How to make a traditional origami butterfly (page 2)

 

01. Since the front and back side share the same color and texture, it doesn't matter which side is facing up.   But if you have a paper with different color or texture, then start with a paper's back side facing up.   Prepare for a valley-fold in half horizontally.

02. Apply the valley-fold of the step #1.   Prepare to unfold.
